Year joined: 1984, I have been in the club since then. Competing, on the executive, patrol captain, surf boat sweep. Coaching. Life member in 2016.
Best moment competing: winning the Aussies in 2015 with the Scumdogs U19 Male at Aussies
Best sweeping moment: Boat relay at the Aussies in 2018 with my son Finn. Crews involved – Z’s, Zenith, Wolfpack.
What do you love about ABSLSC: Comradery, mateship, so much fun over the years. Meeting good people, spending time with family. Dad raced skis so I always around, it was what I always knew.
What do you enjoy about patrol: patrol is leading by example for young people/rowers. If competing you have to do them but try to enjoy it by giving back to the community.
Advice for younger members: have fun, respect the people that built the club and their values, carry on the legacy that they built.
